A full install takes a property from bare dirt, builder-grade sod or an overgrown yard to a finished landscape: grading, beds, plants, turf, borders and the paths between them.
It is the service most other work hangs off. Curbing, irrigation and stone usually go in as part of the same plan so the yard is built once, in the right order.
